GISSER NAMED HARNESS HORSE YOUTH FOUNDATION PROJECT MANAGER
Keith Gisser has joined the Harness Horse Youth Foundation as Project Manager according to HHYF Executive Director Ellen Taylor. In addition to media and promotion, Gisser will be involved in recruitment and programming for the educational organization.
"HHYF is growing and moving forward with the addition of Keith to the team. His talents and enthusiasm will strengthen our efforts in important areas of the organization which can only help us to reach more kids," said Executive Director Ellen Taylor.
Gisser, a native of Cleveland, Ohio, worked in publicity and media relations at Northfield Park for over 15 years before departing in February of 2011. He is a former Standardbred trainer, owner and driver who until recently competed in the CKG Billings Series. He began his racing media career as producer and co-host of the award winning radio show, Keeping Pace.
"I am excited to join HHYF. I think my knowledge of racing and media, combined with my experience as a soccer coach, give me a perspective that will allowed me to be a solid contributor to HHYF's mission and goals," said Gisser.
A charitable organization, HHYF seeks to provide young people and their families information and experiences with harness horses in order to foster the next generation of fans and participants. The organization offers programs for hands-on learning as well as scholarships.
