INDUSTRY
STEPS UP TO ASSIST HHYF TRUCK CAMPAIGN
All facets of the harness
industry have answered an appeal by the Harness Horse Youth Foundation
(HHYF) to help fund the purchase of a much needed pick-up truck.
The truck is used to transport horses, equipment and teaching materials
for the Harness Racing Youth League summer camp program.
"I don't know which
makes me prouder - the diligent efforts of our hardworking trustees
or the unbelievable support given by the entire industry," said
Callie Davies-Gooch, President of HHYF. "This truck represents many
things, not the least of which is that the industry recognizes the
importance of our work. This is the first significant asset to be
owned by HHYF and will take the entire program to a new level. It
is so gratifying."
Those people and organizations
who have contributed include: Brittany Farms Stallion Management,
