TANNER JOINS HARNESS HORSE YOUTH FOUNDATION BOARD

The Harness Horse Youth Foundation is pleased to announce the addition of USTA Executive Vice President Mike Tanner to the Board of Trustees.
“I’m thrilled to be part of the Harness Horse Youth Foundation. Harness racing is a wonderful sport, and I love the fact that HHYF provides kids with the opportunity to learn about it and be part of it. I’ve seen camp participants enthralled by what they get to do at camp, and believe that values that are acquired along the way can influence the rest of their lives. It’s just a great program,” Mike responded when he learned of his selection. Mike’s experience in a variety of racing positions as well as his enthusiasm for harness racing make him well qualified to serve.
HHYF is currently finalizing details for summer camps including the Harness Racing Youth League, just recently produced a publication highlighting of the many talented former graduates and participants of HHYF activities, and is busy developing additional programs and partnerships with industry organizations.
Established in 1976, the Harness Horse Youth Foundation addresses youth education throughout the United States and Canada. A charitable organization, the HHYF continues to enlarge and improve its programs.
