RACING YOUTH LEAGUE SUMMER CAMP SCHEDULE SET
The Harness Horse Youth
Foundation announces its 2007 camp schedule for the Level 1 events.
The dates are as follows:.
Harrington Raceway
- June 24 to 28

Bangor Raceway -
July 8 to 12
Bangor, ME
Mohegan Sun at Pocono
Downs - July 16 to 20
Wilkes-Barre, PA
The Meadowlands
- July 26 to 28
East Rutherford, NJ
Saratoga Raceway
- July 30 to August 3
Saratoga Springs, NY
Level 1camps are designed
as an introduction to the excitement of racing. Young people from
all experience levels and disciplines are sure to learn by attending
this highly successful program. From basic horsemanship skills to
about driving and equipment, this hands-on program is a 5-day/4
night summer camp. Participants must be between the ages of 11 and
13. Each location (except for The Meadowlands) will accept a total
of 12 participants.
Potential applicants
must submit an application form and essay addressing "The Wind In
My Helmet - Why I Want To Feel The Thrills Of Driving A Horse!"

Additional completed
release forms and a registration fee of $100 must be on file before
accepted applicant will be allowed to participate.
