HHYF SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS AVAILABLE
Applications are now
available for the scholarships administered by the Harness Horse
Youth Foundation. The documents and complete criteria for the various
awards may be obtained by downloading from the website or by request
via email, telephone or regular mail.
There are several scholarships
available including:
1. Gallo Blue Chip -
for children of NY or NJ licensed trainers and caretakers;
2. Curt Greene Memorial
- for students with a passion for harness racing;
3. Charles Bradley Memorial
- for children of licensed pari-mutuel officials;
4. Vincent Abate Memorial
- for children of employees of The Meadowlands and Freehold Raceway.
The scholarship program
was the first project of the HHYF. In the past 30 years, HHYF has
awarded in excess of $464,000 to worthy students. Deadline for submitting
applications is April 30, 2007. View

Established in 1976,
the Harness Horse Youth Foundation addresses youth education throughout
the United States and Canada. A charitable organization, the HHYF
