NAMED HARNESS HORSE YOUTH FOUNDATION TRUSTEE
The Harness Horse Youth
Foundation is pleased to announce its newest trustee David Reid,
co-owner of Preferred Equine Marketing, Inc. and Director Of Operations
at the Tattersalls Horse Sale Company.
Well-known for his ownership
of the great trotting mare Moni Maker and his involvement in marketing
and selling horses, Mr. Reid brings further credentials to his new
position. As the father of twin teenage girls, Mr. Reid also has
an understanding what motivates and interests young people.
"I believe strongly that
the harness racing industry needs to capture the attention of our
younger generation. The importance of this demographic at all levels
of participation is becoming critical. Besides, harness racing can
always benefit from fresh, innovative thinking in addressing subjects
which will help make the industry grow," said Mr. Reid when asked
why he accepted the invitation to join HHYF.
Established in 1976,
the Harness Horse Youth Foundation addresses youth education throughout
the United States and Canada. A charitable organization, the HHYF
