HARNESS RACING YOUTH LEAGUE STABLE BIOGRAPHIES

Black Monday
Unquestionably the stable "diva", Black Monday's attitude is easily interpreted. She likes food, attention, food, and food in that order. She doesn't much care for shipping (especially the long trips the HRYL stable takes) either. She has a mighty spirit and big heart providing you can get through all her "sass".

Coupe de Ville
Nicknamed "Cadillac" for his ease in driving, Coupe has some mixed emotions as well as mixed parentage. He is the only "half horse" in the stable and his physical appearance shows it. Most of the time, he is relaxed and at ease but when he gets excited, he doesn't act his age as the old man in the stable at 17! And, by the way, he likes his hay served sopping wet, please.

Justaway
Justaway is one of those quiet, not-much-fuss horses. She likes her work, she likes to perform, and she is so kind to allow the "7th" horse in the six-horse trailer to share her space. A little-known part of Justaway's past is that she is the dam of a very successful racing son. With a bit of frizz in her foretop, Justaway continues to be the solid rock of the stable.

Little Mac
The hairdresser's dream, that's what Little Mac is. He has a long foretop and an uncontrollable mane which suits itself well to braids and braids. He is gentle and sweet but needs to have a little security with his equine and human friends. As the youngster of the stable, he shows his vitality, especially on those cool mornings.

Mr. Mojo

Mojo is simply the class clown. He loves to be funny and do unexpected tricks (like the time he decided to take his hopples off by simply raising all four feet at the same time while in the crossties!!). He smiles, he laughs, and with his charming personality, he gets by with the little stubborn streak he sometimes exhibits. The "big man" on campus, errrhhh in the the HRYL stable!

Sweet Karen
Karen is the stable's blond (seeing as she's palomino). She is excitable and prances even at the walk. She loves attention…and eating…as she is constantly under surveillance which almost always means restricted diet due to her chubbiness. Karen also is lucky enough to travel with her father, The Wanderer so she's become a little bit of a "papa's girl" as well.

The Wanderer
To steal the description of John Wayne, Wanderer is the "quiet man". He is always alert to what's happening but, so long as he feels secure in his environment, he maintains his calm. On the track, he loves to show his confidence, always jogging with his flaxen mane and tail flowing elegantly. Handsome and regal describe Wanderer!
