HARNESS RACING YOUTH LEAGUE STABLE BIOGRAPHIES

Clypso Dust
Caly is the new kid on the block, thanks to the generous donation of Bob and Carol Fleming in New York. This gorgeous chestnut  will make her camp debut this summer. She is currently wintering with the rest of the gang at Brittany Farms in Kentucky.

Ima's Hit
Ima Hit was spotted at a public auction last fall. How could you miss his stunning looks and wonderful personality? But, the bidding was fierce and HHYF did not get to take him home. Thanks to our wonderful friend Esther, however, we found out he was for sale again this spring but now living in West Virginia. Some quick telephone calls and horse trading over a weekend and HHYF is now the proud owner. We need to find him a barn name, allow him some time to adjust to the program and get settled in. This summer excitement will be high as we discover the specialness of this – HRYL’s first every grey representative!

Dusty Sensation

Dusty is still “green” and inexperienced but is learning her lessons on how to be a race horse and polite to kids too. From the moment she was spotted as a baby, Dusty had a presence, a class, quality of regalness. With a little experience that can only come with age, we hope she develops into a shining star.

Jessica Direct

Jessica has a couple of years under her belt and is on her way to adjusting to the “summer life of a rock star” while traveling with HRYL. She’s a quick-study of people personalities and hasn’t turned into the diva yet so let’s hope she doesn’t turn into the fiery-red head stereotype.

Jandi's Tuff As Sky We shortened his name to Tuffy – but he’s not! He comes from northern Indiana with several road miles under his belt already and one HRYL season under his belt. One thing we have discovered about Tuffy is that his attitude is much improved after lunch!

Sweet Karen
Karen is the stable’s blond – seeing as she’s palamino. She’s excitable and prances even at the walk. She loves attention…and eating…and she’s constantly on a restricted diet due to her enthusiasm for the feed tub. She is also posts to her own FaceBook page. LR Trixie
Trixie is just one cute little girl. She was raised by a family full of kids and she seems to thrive on the attention. She’s brave and quiet but doesn’t have a bunch of track experience so we’ll have to be patient as she learns her lessons.

Royal Attire
We did a little “horse trading” to get Art for the program in 2009. When we picked him up, we noticed his unusual markings – we’re anxious to see how he looks when he sheds all his winter hair – sure to be one handsome fellow!
